Easy Street, Sierra Resort's lauded beginner terrain, is the perfect learning playground. With two dedicated beginner conveyor lifts, and gently banked terrain, Sierra's SMART TERRAIN® program creates an environment where beginner skiers and snowboarders feel comfortable learning new skills. In addition, skiers and riders will be outfitted with beginner specific equipment from industry leaders, Burton and Rossignol. This equipment is designed to accelerate the learning curve so you will be making turns down Easy Street in no time at all.
Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort Adult Ski & Snowboard School offers lessons for skiers and riders age 13 and over at any ability level. So, whether it's your first time on snow or you are looking for help perfecting your high-speed GS turns, our instructors can help you improve your skills on the snow.
For first time skiers and snowboarders, or for those still very new, the Learn to Ski/Ride lessons take advantage of Sierra Resort's SMART TERRAIN® program designed to take you through the fundamentals of skiing and riding so you feel confident on our green circle terrain.

Sierra Resort understands that progressing to the next level is just as important as learning how to ski or snowboard, which is why for as low as $89* a day you can improve your skiing/riding skills with Sierra Resort’s All Mountain 3-paks. All Mountain Lessons cater to skiers and riders whose ability is anywhere between maintaining control on green circle terrain to looking to improve technique in powder, trees, bumps or the terrain parks. Lessons are 2.5 hours.

Private lessons are a great way to get started on the slopes or to elevate your skiing and riding to the next level. With one-on-one or small group instruction, a student can often progress his/her abilities more in one lesson than in an entire season without professional instruction. Sierra-at-Tahoe caters to all levels of skiers and riders by pairing up the appropriate instructor for each ability and age. Choose from 2 hours, 3 hours or a full day of one-on-one instruction to help improve your ability. This individualized experience provides instant feedback and personal attention helping you fine tune your technique while enjoying a day out on the mountain. Private lessons can be for one person or groups up to five people so you can stay together with your friends and family and still benefit from private instruction.

Seeing is believing! Add expert video analysis to any Private Lesson of 3 hours or more. By combining the latest technology and PSIA certified instruction, guests are sure to see improvement quickly. Review your video analysis after the lesson with an instructor, and enjoy a discount on your next lesson when booked that day. Once you experience this new goggle technology, you’ll have to own a pair yourself, and can purchase at a discount in Sierra Mt. Sports.
The early bird gets the worm from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Those who take advantage of the Early Bird Special can enjoy a private lesson on freshly groomed slopes with no crowds and receive a great deal - just $99 - at the same time. Get a bonus 1/2 hour on weekends and holidays with Early Bird starting at 8:30 a.m.
Let's do it together! This 2-hour private (for the price of 1 hour) is for parents who want to learn how to teach their child (ages 2 - 5). Parents and kid must be present and everyone gets instruction. This private is offered at 2:00 everyday. Reservations are recommended.

Come join our team of fun female pros for the weekend! Whether you want to keep up with (or catch up to!) your family and friends or learn new techniques, we're here to help increase your confidence on all terrain. We want you to ski, snowboard and explore the mountain with more control, power and finesse.
Sierra-at-Tahoe’s all-female learning environment is designed to improve on-hill skill and confidence for women ages 18 and over of any skiing or snowboarding ability. Camps are taught by ability level; we've found this to be the most conducive to learning. Or, you and your friends can form your own group if you are comfortable skiing and snowboarding together.
On Saturday, each camp starts with a welcome breakfast. At the end of the day, enjoy Après drinks and snacks on the top of the mountain, overlooking Lake Tahoe.

Sierra-at-Tahoe is proud to introduce our first seniors program! For skiers and snowboarders ages 55 and up, enjoy 10 days of guided instruction throughout the 2012-13 winter season. This program allows you to experience all the mountain has to offer while meeting people with the same passion for skiing/riding in the same stages of their life. This is a great way to improve your skills through light coaching in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Fun, exciting, social, and progressive all at the same time! If you are not sure, come try a free introductory class on January 9 and decide after you experience a day.
