The better you are at skiing and snowboarding, the more fun it is! The Sierra Resort Ski and Snowboard School will get the beginners in your group going (and stopping!) and help the more advanced skiers and snowboarders with refining their technique. The Rental Shop offers first-time, beginners and intermediate skiers and riders ability specific equipment that will ease the learning curve. Winter clothing and helmets are also available for rent (restrictions apply).

What time should I arrive?
We recommend pulling in to the parking lot no later than 8:00 a.m.
If I have 10 skiers and 10 snowboarders, do I still qualify for group rates?
Of course! Any group of 20 people or more enjoying one of the many snow sports activities qualifies for group rates.
Not everyone is renting equipment; do we still receive the rental discount?
Absolutely. Even if there is only 1 person renting in your group of 20 or more, that 1 person will receive the discount.
Some people do not want to buy lunch coupons, can I purchase just a few or does everyone have to buy one?
You can purchase as many as you like, however many works for your group.
Does Sierra Resort have any Freestyle Terrain Parks?
We do not only have one of the best parks & pipe in Lake Tahoe, but the Nation! We have also been creating some cutting-edge terrain features as well as adding new boxes and rails to our parks.
Where do I pick up my tickets?
On the day of your arrival, your tickets will be at the group sales counter located in the Vertical Plus Office. Our Group Coordinator will be there to help you with your tickets and other needs. Your group leader will go in and make one payment to receive all the lift tickets.
How do I get to Sierra Resort?
Sierra Resort is located on HWY 50 in Twin Bridges, CA.. Click here for driving directions.
What kind of weather can I expect?
Lake Tahoe's weather is excellent! Make sure everyone in your group dresses in layers so they can easily put on or take off clothes, depending on the weather. Mountain must-haves also include: sunscreen, lip balm and sunglasses or goggles. We also have current and forecasted weather conditions on our website.
